Dr C P de Leeuw established the C P de Leeuw Group of quantity surveyors and property valuers in 1958. Under Dr De Leeuw’s leadership, the C P de Leeuw Group ranked in the twenty largest quantity surveying practices in the world. In 2000 Dr Corné de Leeuw joined forces with his son Gerhard to establish DelQS in Johannesburg. Together they took up the challenges of the new millennium by merging experience and a long track record with youthful vigour and technological expertise.
Dr De Leeuw passed away in early 2019. He was a leader and icon in the quantity surveying field who passionately dedicated more than 65 years of his life to the building industry. His excellent contribution and service will have a lasting impact.
DelQS is dedicated to building on the legacy that he left behind. The values and principles he instilled in everyone who worked with him have provided DelQS with a strong foundation to offer services developed from first principles with strong values at its core. DelQS is today in the fortunate position that it can provide services for any size of project while retaining the one primary strength, namely personal service.
